A lacrosse ball is not only great for lacrosse, but also can be great for your feet 😉
If you experience pain in your feet, this simple exercise can make a big difference. This is really effective at loosening up the tissues & joints in your foot. It is similar to using a tennis ball but being firmer, is even better at loosening tight, stiff joints and muscles.
BUT, start gently & go slowly – some people can find this exercise quite uncomfortable if you push too hard. The ideal amount of pressure you apply to the ball is your foot feels tender but NOT PAINFUL.
Initially start with doing the exercise once to twice daily & for 60 seconds each time. If you still experience pain, don’t ignore it. Make a time to see one of our Podiatrist’s so we can get you back to moving & enjoying activity.
